Some Macintosh users are trying to use it who do not have the skills that are needed to install it. Here are some suggestions to help the average user to install it. If you still have problems we can not give any further support until the help files are completed for the finished programming.
1) Download the Mac Online Bible for OSX program.
2) Remove any old copies of the Online Bible application on your hard drive or any other mounted volume.
3) Create an "Online Bible ƒ" folder inside the Applications folder on your hard drive.
4) Unzip the beta archive you downloaded if this wasn't done automatically.
5) Double-click on the disk image (.dmg) file to mount it. Then copy the Online Bible app from the mounted image into the "Online Bible ƒ" folder you created.
6) From the Apple menu execute "Log Out" and after that log back in. This is necessary if you instend to use the Copy Verses command from the Services menu.
7) Insert your OLB Classic or Deluxe CD and locate the true type fonts "OLB Greek", "OLB Greek2", and "OLB Hebrew" in the ":Extras:Shareware:Fonts:OLB:TrueType:" folder.
8) Copy the three fonts "OLB Greek", "OLB Greek2", and "OLB Hebrew" from the CD into the ":Library:Fonts:" folder on your hard drive.
9) Open up the English folder on your Classic or Deluxe CD.
10) Copy the KJV, BDB, Thayer, TSK, and other Bible texts or modules you intend to use into the ":Applications:Online Bible ƒ:" folder on your hard drive. After doing this the modules should be residing in the "Online Bible ƒ" folder next to the Online Bible app on your hard drive.
11) Double-click on the Online Bible app (the icon consisting of a scroll with a feather pen) to launch it. It will automatically load the Bible text and other modules you copied into the "Online Bible ƒ" folder on your hard drive.
12) For easier launching in the future, Control-Click on the Online Bible icon found in the Dock and choose the "Keep In Dock" item. This will allow you to simply click on the Online Bible icon in the Dock instead of attempting to locate it in the "Online Bible ƒ" folder.
13) If you don't already have our fonts on your system, Click Here to download a zipped disk image (.dmg) file containing the OLB Greek, OLB Greek2, and OLB Hebrew fonts. The OLB Greek consists of Greek lower case and Roman upper case. It's for the Greek NT texts which require Roman text for the footnotes (parsing and interlinear). The OLB Greek2 text is both upper and lower case Greek and is used in the Greek lexicons, commentaries, and other add-on modules that use Greek.
